February 13 1968 - November 22 2021
Earnest Events is named after my incredible father, Arnie.
We lost an amazing, kind, and dedicated husband and father suddenly and unexpectedly late November 2021.
Dad was always there for everyone. Every single person who needed him. He would be there. He cared deeply and loved hard. His heart was huge and nothing meant more to him than his family.
He has always been one of the biggest supports in my life — along with my beautiful mother, his wife, Geri.
Dad was always pushing us to be our very best and was consistently making sure we were doing everything in our power to be living our lives as fully and completely as we could. He wanted us to be healthy and happy. His family meant the world to him.
When he wasn’t spending time with his family, Dad was a major part of the hockey community. He loved the sport and spent many years coaching my own hockey teams as well as my siblings’ teams. He loved exploring and learning new things. He was also a big fan of video games. Fortnite was his favourite. At night, he would spend multiple hours streaming on Twitch and playing with his many friends - both real life and online.
His loss has not been easy to manoeuvre. Going through life without him has been the hardest thing I have ever had to do. He was a huge influence in my decision to take the Event Planning course as he was always trying to help me figure out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I figured it out, Dad.
so this one is for you.
I love you.
